I believe in four main areas for healthy living: physical, social, emotional and environmental. Part of being so healthy is making sure you’re also healthy mentally too so improving diet can help both as a treatment and an adjunct to therapy. It’s very beneficial to the overall well-being in managing energy level, mood and sense of well-being! Take for example when I met Shari–she made some changes in her diet (did you know she used to love chocolate pudding?!) to make it healthier which improved her overall energy level, mood and sense of well-being!
