About
MoP… I really hate this comic-relief-cinematic. Yes, one of the survivors gets pulled by the fat panda. But I don’t like this approach at all, especially when you consider this whole Kung-Fu-Panda-moviecrap that got in same time really big … I didn’t like the film back in the days and the similarity to the cinematic of MoP have made me hate this cinematic as well. The film was made well, however. But … the pandas are a major reason I don’t really liked the expansion. Prior to MoP there was only one known Pandaren in Warcraft, Chen. In fact, he was the only of the characters in the optional campaign in the expansion of Warcraft 3.
The Sylvanas/Bolvar Prepatch Cinematic was a strong. I would rate it higher even if it was only for the twist ending. It was truly shocking. However, I had honestly completely forgot about the “Beyond the Veil” cinematic, which was the actual official trailer movie for the game. It’s sad, because the animation is genuinely gorgeous however it’s totally forgettable and insignificant.
I’m considering getting back into WoW (was massively interested in it prior to the start of Cataclysm. I loved WotLK until the end , and I’m considering changing to Classic or Classic TBC. I’m confused about the Classic and Classic TBC systems. Does this mean that I won’t be able use the Classic TBC character? If I create the Classic TBC character and they release Classic WotLK will I not be able use that character for Classic WotLK content? I’m not sure about the progression between these different old games. Would love it if someone could help clarify things for me.
Many members of the WoW community would like a simple WoW reboot. It’s a classic+ like OSRS. We’re looking for new content, new raids, new world bosses, new zones, more social encounters during the game’s journey. It is possible to look into and incorporate things such as Grim Hyjal and Batol. Classes can be adjusted so that paladins have a taunt or a mana issue is reduced in all specs, and also improve the itemization to allow players to utilize their gear of tier. TBC talents could literally change the game and make it more enjoyable , and also change the game drastically. There’s not enough exciting developments announced as of Seasons of Mastery. The point I’m making is that there are plenty of small tweaks that could bring a big difference to vanilla. Azeroth modifications can result in the most enjoyable and entertaining gaming experience.
It’s really frustrating to see an entire blizzard team attempting to sabotage their latest take on classic reboot. Double speed, same loot distribution, and increased levels of health of the boss. It’s the recipe for a casual guild disaster over loot drama. While I’m not a fan of buffs that boost the world, it’s something I’m willing to do twice as often with the same old mechanics. Naxx is now taking two times as long to complete exactly the same equipment, and it won’t feel anymore satisfying because there’s nothing new to be found. AQ is the same raid as before, etc.
Even more so, the classic era is long gone. It wasn’t my intention to see it retain huge numbers of players, however the cost of cloning characters the game. New players don’t join because nobody wants to put away their time to level. It can take several months to level up and then why bother to do it if the server has stopped functioning.
